[Note]Falsification
Falsification may refer to the act of disproving a proposition, hypothesis, or theory (Wikipedia)
Principle of Falsification:
Being unrestricted, scientific theories cannot be verified by any possible accumulation of observational evidence. The formation of hypothesis is a creative process of the imagination and is not a passive reaction to observed regularities. A scientific test consists in a persevering search for negative, falsifying instances. If a hypothesis survives continuing and serious attempts to falsify it, then it has “proved its mettle” and can be provisionally accepted, but it can never be established conclusively. Later corroboration generates a series of hypothesis into a scientific theory.
Thus, the core element of a scientific hypothesis is that it must be capability of being proven false. For example, the hypothesis that “atoms move because they are pushed by small, invisible, immaterial demons” is pseudo-science since the existence of the demons cannot be proven false (i.e. cannot be tested at all).

[Test] Transfer wordpress hosting
I’ve just transfered from free hosting Byet to Godaddy web hosting.
Some reasons for giving up a free hosting account:
- Limited sql access (I nearly overload mysql query)
- Auto-redirect to promotion page when accessing to some pages
- Auto-suspend due to exceed limited bandwidth
- Paid-hosting with promotion code not expensive (~ $1/month)
- …
Some useful tips to transfer to new wordpress host:
- Login to your wordpress Dashboard. Goto Tools –> Export to export all pages + posts.
- Go to wordpress.ord to download the lastest wordpress.
- Using FTP or web account to login to new hosting and upload wordpress files.
- Create new database for your wordpress
- Go to link http://example.com/wp-admin/install.php to link wordpress + database, or simply edit wp-config with new db account info.
- Finally, go to Dashboard –> Tools –>Import to import all your previous data from old wordpress.
- (Optional) Delete all data in old hosting.

Thỉnh thoảng lướt qua blog của người ta đọc được 1 bài viết hay, 1 câu thơ hay, mình chỉ muốn lưu lại để sau này lôi ra xem lại, cảm giác khi đọc thơ, văn làm mình cảm thấy sự cảm thụ văn thơ của mình tệ quá, nhất là khi đọc thơ viết bằng chữ Hán Việt thì không hiểu lắm…Thế là lại google, tìm được nguyên 1 bài viết về bài thơ này nên mới biết là nó hay và có nhiều người dịch rồi.
Trong lịch sử nước ta, triều Lý (1010-1225) là triều đại cường thịnh về quân sự, vững vàng về chính trị và rực rỡ về văn học. Mở đầu cho nền văn học viết, thơ văn đời Lý truyền lại được đến nay phần lớn chỉ ghi lại trong Thiền Uyển tập anh (1), tập sách do Thiền sư Kim Sơn thuộc Thiền phái Trúc lâm (2) viết vào năm 1337, đời Trần nhưng lại chủ yếu ghi hành trạng của các tăng sĩ đời Lý thuộc 03 dòng Thiền: Vô Ngôn Thông, Tỳ Ni Đa Lưu chi và Huệ phái Thiền sư Thảo Đường.
Các cao tăng đời Lý học rộng, tinh thông Phật pháp lại giỏi Hán học nên được triều đình kính nể. Đạo Phật được tôn vinh nên nhiều người muốn tìm học triết lý Phật giáo. Ngoài việc thuyết giảng, các nhà sư còn dùng “kệ”, một thể thơ nhà Phật nhằm truyền đạt những ý cao siêu uyên áo của Phật pháp bằng những hình ảnh, những câu thơ ngắn gọn sinh động mà dễ hiểu.
Thiền Uyển tập anh chép lại nhiều bài kệ (3) nhưng nổi bật nhất có bài sau đây của Đại sư Mãn Giác :

[CakePHP]Starting a new web application
Make sure you’ve installed PHP & MySQL on your computer. You may download Wamp or Xampp server to have a complete and configured PHP & MySQL.
Download latest cake framework and extract it to your local root folder(it’s is wamp/www or xampp/htdocs). Create a sample database in phpmyAdmin, let name it “cakephp”.
Open app/config/database.php.default to declare your cake database and mysql user & password to access to database, then rename the file to database.php
Now, cake is ready to baked

When studied at university, I hated to code web by PHP because I had to start everything from scratch. With that in mind, many web projects I denied to choose PHP, and chose ASP instead.
However, recently, I’ve just discovered CakePHP framework, a pretty good framework to code PHP without put too much effort in coding. It took me about a week to get to know as well as to create a “ebook collection” website.

[Thesis] Accelerometer and Compass Sensor
Any modern mobile phone is equipped with accelerometer and compass sensor. Many techniques is developed to use the ease of phone sensors for indoor tracking. Using accelerometer to estimate the walking distance, using compass to detect heading direction.

We did use accelerometer to calculate distance by double integral acceleration w.r.t time. However, the phone sensor is inaccurate and produce noise, therefore, this approach results a high distance error. In our experiment walking for 25m, most of the case, the distance is estimated around a haft of 25m.
